BRIDGEPORT - Police said it was clear the four young men were up to no good. When they pulled them over late Tuesday afternoon, police said the men had black ski masks and loaded handguns. Javon Beal, 29, of Pixlee Place, Zan Hairston, 21, of Dekalb Avenue, Shaquinn Johnson, 20, of Bryant Street, and Jameen Simpson, of uncertain address, were all charged with possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle and criminal possession of a weapon. They were being held in lieu of $250,000 bond. On Tuesday afternoon police said two officers were patrolling the Trumbull Gardens housing project, the site of a shooting on Monday, when a newer Honda sedan with no front plate drove past them.
