New Years' Eve fire leaves 11 Waterbury families homeless

A  New Years’ Eve fire displaced 11 Waterbury families, according to a release from the American Red Cross. 

A total of 20 adults and 17 children were displaced after a fire on High Street, according to the release.

Emergency services arrived at the multi-family home around 2 a.m. Dec. 31, to find the top floor of the three-story structure engulfed in flames, according to NBC Connecticut
