Prosecutors allege members of the ONE gang were based out of the Trumbull Gardens area of the city and “sold narcotics, laundered narcotics proceeds, committed acts of violence against rival gang members, robbed drug dealers, stole cars from inside and outside Connecticut and used them to commit crimes, and tampered with witnesses who might testify against them,” the U.S. Attorney’s office said.
Between 2017 and August of 2020, the group was allied with the Greene Homes Boyz, a group based out of the Charles F. Greene Homes Housing Complex in the city’s North End, according to authorities. Sorrells is being held in lieu of $2 million bond and is scheduled to be seen in court Friday.
