STRATFORD — Some United Illuminating customers in the center of town can expect a planned power outage this Friday. UI has scheduled overhead work for new service to the Stratford High School building. This requires a planned power outage on Friday starting at 8 p.m. It was unclear when power would be restored. Commercial and residential customers on Barnum Avenue, King Street and North Parade Street are expected to be impacted by the outage. All affected residents and businesses have been notified.
