NORTH HAVEN — A woman was charged after she fled from detectives on two separate days when they tried to pull her over, police said. Christy Gorman, 30, of North Haven, was charged with violation of probation, engaging officers in a pursuit and two counts of evading responsibility. Detectives tried to pull Gorman over on July 18, the department said on Friday. Gorman had an active arrest warrant for violation of probation. “Gorman fled at a high rate of speed and collided with two vehicles while fleeing from police,” the department said. Police were unable to arrest her then. On Friday, detectives found Gorman in a car in New Haven, where there was another pursuit and another collision.
