MILFORD — Residents can participate in a boating safety course next Saturday in Milford. The course will be held at the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 24-3 training center at 1 Helwig Street in Milford - just one block north of Milford Boat Works. Walk-ins are welcome, but advanced registration can be don’t at http://a0142403.uscgaux.info/. The boating safety course will begin at 8 a.m. Instruction will cover all the basic topics involved in safely operating a recreational boat.
