Milford: Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event set for Sunday

MILFORD — OK, guys, it’s time for you to man up. The Milford Rape Crisis Center’s annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes fundraiser will take place on Sunday, April 29, 2018, beginning at 1 p.m., with registration starting at noon. The event asks men to raise money for the Rape Crisis Center by walking one mile wearing heels — the spikier the better. Guys who raise $150 get a T-shirt and a $25 Target gift. If you collect $75 in pledges, you’ll get a T-shirt and a tote bag. It steps off at Lisman’s Landing on Helwig Street and walkers will walk through downtown streets.
