Friday will be a rainy and cool day with temperatures below average. The rain ends tonight, with some patchy fog possible in its wake. The sun is likely to break through on Saturday, especially in the morning ahead of an approaching cold front., the National Weather Service says. Although some scattered showers are possible by the end of the day on Saturday, high temperatures across most of the area will reach the mid to upper 60s. Cooler readings can be expected along the coasts due to a light onshore wind. Next week, the NWS says we could see daytime temperatures in the 80s. “Highs on Tuesday will be in the upper 60s to low 70s before rising well above average for Wednesday and Thursday,” the NWS says.
