BRIDGEPORT - Two former college football players, falsely accused of rape by a Long Island woman, claim Sacred Heart University violated the contract it has with students when the two men say they were forced to leave the school. In lawsuits filed in Superior Court here, Dhameer Bradley, of Fairfield and Malik St. Hilaire, of Brooklyn, N.Y., claim Sacred Heart breached its contract laid out in its student handbook that students “Have the right to be treated with respect, dignity and compassion by university officials and by all persons involved in disciplinary procedures.” The suits also accused Nikki Yovino, convicted of making the false rape claims, of slander, libel and the intentional infliction of emotional distress.
