BRIDGEPORT — Other than the fact that they’re vying for the Bridgeport police chief position, the three finalists for the job of top cop have something important in common: a wealth of police experience. On Friday, the city released the resumes of the three finalists, who were identified earlier this week as Acting Bridgeport Police Chief Armando Perez, Bridgeport Capt. Roderick Porter and New Haven Assistant Police Chief Luiz Casanova. According to the information disclosed in their resumes, each finalist has decades of experience in law enforcement. In his six-page resume, Perez described himself as, “a dynamic and assertive law enforcement officer.
