Make Halloween spooky but safe

With cute (but spooky) costumes, fun (but freaky) decorations and lots of sweet treats, Halloween is supposed to be a fun holiday. But it is also loaded with safety pitfalls. From October through November 2017, the Consumer Product Safety Commission estimated a total of 4,500 Halloween-related injuries. About 41 percent were related to pumpkin carving, 32 percent were Halloween-associated falls (tripping over costumes, falling while putting up or taking down decorations, etc.); 5 percent were allergic reactions or rashes and 22 percent were assorted Halloween-linked illnesses and injuries.
