Teen injured by hit and run driver

OXFORD - A Seymour teen was injured when he was struck by a car while on his bicycle on Monday. Nathaniel Grogan, 18, of Shari Drive, Seymour, was taken to St. Vincent Medical Center by Oxford EMS where state police said he was being treated for non-life threatening injuries. State police said they are looking for the vehicle that struck Grogan and then took off. Police said Grogan was riding on Oxford Road near the entrance to Market 32 when he was struck by the vehicle described by witnesses as either a light-blue sports utility vehicle or van. They said witnesses discribed the driver as being a white man with short blond hair, between the ages of 30 and 40 years old.
