BRIDGEPORT — A car was stolen in the city Thursday with a 4-year-old boy still in the backseat, dispatch reports indicated. The car — described as a candy, bright red 2015 Nissan Altima with New York plates — was taken from Park Avenue, reports indicated. There were two kids in the backseat, an officer at the scene told the dispatcher, but one of the kids was able to jump out before the car took off. The 5-year-old was still in the car when it fled north on Park Avenue. Police are searching the city and have notified neighboring towns to be on the lookout for the car of the kid. The boy was described as a black male, wearing a gray shirt with green stripes.
