Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy have weighed in on the controversy surrounding the Trump administration’s settlement of a lawsuit that now paves the way for 3-D printing of untraceable and potentially undetectable guns. The June settlement between the Justice Department and a Texas gun-rights enthusiast with anarchist leanings “is as dangerous as it is confounding,” the two senators said in a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, joined by three other Senate Democrats. “The American people have a right to know why their government agreed to such a dangerous outcome.
