MONROE — Two accidents along Route 111 in Monroe on Saturday didn’t cause any serious injuries, fire officials said. One crash happened around midnight where Route 111 and Cross Hill Road meet. The second collision was around 10:30 a.m. at the Route 111 and Purdy Hill Road intersection. “There were no serious injuries in either crash,” fire officials said later Saturday. There was no immediate word on what might have caused either crash.
