WESTPORT — A Bridgeport man faces several charges after he was pulled over and gave officers a false identity, police said. Lou Geneus, 36, of Bridgeport, was charged with non-assaultive interfering with an officer, criminal impersonation, illegal operation of a motor vehicle under suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and failing to have insurance to cover minimum requirements. Officers spotted a car with an expired registration driving on the Sherwood Island Connector around 9:30 a.m. Monday and pulled the driver over. “The operator claimed the vehicle he was driving belonged to his brother,” police said. “He also claimed to have lost his license and provided officer’s a fraudulent name.
