Connecticut State Police aren’t just increasing their presence on roadways this holiday weekend. They’re also likely hanging out on a train platform near you. In a message posted on the group’s Facebook page, the state police announced that its Mass Transit Security K9 teams and their law enforcement partners will patrol Union Station in New Haven and all stations and platforms from New Haven to the New York state line throughout the Memorial Day weekend. “If you see something suspicious or seemingly out of place for your surroundings, say something by contacting the police. Don’t be apprehensive about reporting; it’s better to be safe. #seesomethingsaysomething,” the post reads.
