A Bridgeport man has been arrested after crashing his car in the West Rock tunnel Sunday evening and attempted to flee on foot. State Police say several passing motorists were able to stop Kevin Guerrero from leaving the scene as he ran northbound in the tunnel. When troopers arrived, they took Guerrero in custody. According to a state police report, the incident started at 7:25 p.m. with two vehicles traveling northbound on the Wilbur Cross Parkway, near Exit 59 in New Haven. Guerrero was driving a 20018 Nissan Versa, registered to Hertz. The other vehicle, a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek was driven by a 40-year-old Windsor Locks woman. Inside her vehicle were two boys, ages 6 and 7.
