Ruby Corby O’Neill, a retired psychology professor who has worked on several political campaigns, will run as a Republican for the fifth district Congressional seat soon to be vacated by Elizabeth Esty. Vice chair of the Connecticut Commission on Equity and Opportunity, O’Neill will formally announce her campaign at the Capitol Thursday afternoon, according to her husband.
