HARTFORD — A bill that would codify 10 health services promised to Americans under the Affordable Care Act into Connecticut law passed the House with overwhelming support early Thursday morning. Although a Republican effort to repeal Obamacare failed in July, Connecticut Democrats said Wednesday this bill is needed to guarantee health plan coverage of emergency room trips, prescription drugs, chronic disease treatment and contraception, regardless of how the Affordable Care Act fares in future political battles.
