MONROE — There will be a blood drive at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library next Saturday. The blood drive will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Ehlers Meeting Room. “The need is constant and your contribution is important,” the American Red Cross said. Visit redcrossblood.org/give.html/find-drive to make an appointment. At that site, enter your zip code and choose the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library blood drive. Appointments can also be made by phone at 1-800-733-2767. Pre-reading and donation questions can be filled out ahead of time at redcrossblood.org/rapidpass.
