MILFORD — Runners, walkers, volunteers and interested sponsors are invited to participate in Milford Hospital’s 22nd Annual Mother’s Day “Live Well” Race on Sunday, May 13. The 5K Run / Walk is presented by Oncology Hematology Care of Connecticut in conjunction with “Live Well” community partners. After record registration of nearly 700 participants in 2015, and soggy, but well-attended, events in 2016 and 2017, hospital officials expect more than 500 individuals to take part in the 2018 run / walk. The race begins at 9 a.m. and starts and finishes at Milford Hospital, 300 Seaside Ave. It follows a scenic, seaside course through the Fort Trumbull area. Chip timing technology will track the runners.
