BRIDGEPORT — The city will be auctioning off four vacant lots on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 6 p.m. at City Council Chambers, 45 Lyon Terrace. The blighted homes on these lots have been demolished. “Now there is an opportunity for new life. We encourage developers and first-time home buyers to buy land and contribute to the quality of life in Bridgeport,” said Mayor Joseph Ganim. The properties are: 280 Grandview Ave., 57 Hallett St., 1218 Kossuth St. and 33 Lee Ave. The parcels are starting with a minimum base price. Those wishing to bid must register between 5 and 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
