Weeks ahead of the Republican Convention, candidates are rolling out endorsements right and left. Here are some of the endorsements we’ve heard about: Westport businessman Steve Obsitnik — who has taken to referring to himself as “Steve O” and is either unaware or very aware of the much more famous star of the Jackass TV series who goes by the same name — added 13 supporters to his list this week. The names are mostly those of local RTC chairs, former municipal boards of finance members and the occasional selectman. In an awkward turn of events, Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei apparently endorsed Obsitnik a while ago, only to team up with one of Steve O’s many competitors, millennial mayor Erin Stewart.
