The owner of Stratford’s Sitting Duck Tavern is looking to add his neighborhood feel to the mix of businesses at the Quarry Walk development in Oxford. Owner Bill DaSilva said he is finalizing a lease with Haynes Development to open a third restaurant in Oxford, adding to the roster in the ongoing development of the town’s new commercial hub. “We like Oxford, especially their location, because they are creating a downtown area or a place to gather for a lot of the communities around there, which is always great for a restaurant. It’s a point of destination and that always brings people to the areas.” DaSilva has been running the tavern since he opened his original location in Stratford six years ago at 3694 Main St.
