BRIDGEPORT — A stab wound victim has been reported at a city hospital Wednesday afternoon, dispatch reports indicated. Shortly before 3:30 p.m., Bridgeport police were alerted to a stab wound victim at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. The victim told hospital staff that the stabbing occurred earlier on Beers Street, according to reports. About five minutes before 3 p.m., officers were dispatched to Beers Street for a reported street fight involving what appeared to be teenagers. One witness told police that one person had a knife. When the officers arrived, the fight had dispersed, reports indicated. The victim was reportedly a Central High School student.
