Passover, Good Friday coincide in Bridgeport Observances

Friday was Good Friday for Christians and also the first night of Passover for Jews. The two dates coincide every few years. In 2015, Passover fell on Good Friday, and this was also the case in 2012. Good Friday is the Friday prior to Easter, which is celebrated on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox, except for Orthodox Christians. Passover begins after dusk on the 14th day of the Hebrew month of Nisan.
