Manhattan College named Donald Gibson as dean of its O’Malley School of Business, with Gibson previously dean of the Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University and named only last August as vice provost for university academic affairs. Named for Greenwich resident Thomas O’Malley after a $25 million gift, the O’Malley School of Business is located in Riverdale, N.Y. Gibson has an MBA and doctorate from UCLA, and previously was a Yale University professor in organizational behavior. He is author of a book on managing anger in the workplace and served as executive director of the International Association for Conflict Management.
