Runoff flooding concerns raised by massive Shelton project.

SHELTON—Developers of the massive Towne Center at Shelter Ridge project have a month to clean-up issues involving potential flooding, wetland pollutants and displaced wildlife on what appears to be Fairfield County’s largest proposed development. After hearing engineers on both sides voice opposing views for nearly three hours on the project’s impact on five wetlands, the Inland Wetlands commission decided to continue the Feb. 22 hearing into next month.. But before hearing from the engineers again, they’ll first allow the public to speak during the first resumption at 7 p.m. March 15 in City Hall on Hill Street.
