NEW CANAAN — Police quickly located an 86-year-old man who went missing for a few hours Wednesday. Graham Bryan, 86, was at Waveny Care Center for an adult day care program when he told staff he knew his way home. The center had an alert system on Bryan that triggers when he leaves the premise. Still, police said, he managed to leave the center and did not get on the bus to go home around 3 p.m. The police department was notified Bryan was missing around 5:50 p.m. Police said Bryan suffers from Alzheimer’s. A New Canaan police officer saw someone matching Bryan’s description on White Oak Shade Road near the Merritt Parkway overpass walking southbound toward Norwalk around 5 p.m.
