MILFORD — Officials are investigating yet another case of a car careening into a Melba Street store. A driver mistakenly crashed his car into Kathy’s Famous Cookies & More bake shop, 252 Melba St., early Monday afternoon. There was no one seriously hurt, officials said. The incident occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. after the unidentified male driver lost control of his vehicle. The small SUV traveled over the curb and onto the side walk, striking the main entrance of a bakery located at 252 Melba St. The driver and a female passenger were transported by Milford Fire Paramedics to area hospitals for evaluation. The main entrance of the business was badly damaged. Milford Police are investigating the incident.
