BRIDGEPORT - A local man was found not guilty Monday of raping a Milford woman after police said she and her husband met him to arrange the sale of a food stamp card. The Superior Court jury deliberated about three hours before finding Kevin “Black” Holmes, 44, of Pricilla Circle, not guilty of aggravated first-degree sexual assault and first-degree unlawful restraint. “My client is extremely happy the jury was able to see through the exaggerated testimony and come to the real facts,” said Holmes’ lawyer, Assistant Public Defender Jonathan Demirjian. Holmes has been incarcerated awaiting trial since his arrest in January 2017. Police said detectives were dispatched to Milford Hospital on Aug.
