FAIRFIELD — Fairfield University has gone inside to find its next provost. Christine Siegel, who for a year has been interim provost and senior vice president for academic affairs, will get to shed interim from her title effective July 1, 2018. The selection comes after an extensive national search. Fairfield University’s President Mark R. Nemec, said he was delighted. “I am confident Dr. Siegel will build on her distinguished record as we continue to evolve as a modern Jesuit Catholic institution,” Nemec said.
