During the long commutes back home to Danbury from Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich, Margaret Brennan had a lot of time to think about the wide world and what her place in it might be. Now, 20 years after graduating from the school, Brennan may just have arrived at the sweet spot of her professional life: Moderator of CBS, “Face the Nation,” her debut having occurred this past Sunday. Age 37 may be a bit early for looking back on a long career and giving credit where credit is due. But when asked, Brennan is happy to point to a few sources. She is a fifth-generation Danburian.
