DERBY-New taxes, more taxes and what it means for you the taxpayer will be some of the items up for discussion tonight when the Valley legislators conduct an hour-long town meeting at city hall. State Sen. George Logan, State Reps. Linda Gentile, Themis Klarides and Nicole Klarides-Ditria will be leading the discussion for the meeting which begins at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29 in the Derby City Hall Board of Alderman chambers on 1 Elizabeth Street. The legislators will brief residents on the state budget crisis as well as other issues. One of the key issues could be the spike in the gas tax.
