A disabled tractor-trailer truck has closed the southbound center lane on I-95 in Bridgeport. And it’s in one of the worst locations to be at this time of day during the morning commute. The truck has closed the lane between Exits 26 and 25. This is the area of southbound I-95 that starts to slowdown around 7 a.m. The truck became disabled at 6:52 a.m., according to the state Department of Transportation. Along with delays on I-95, traffic is also backed up on southbound Route 8/25 in Bridgeport. One past the disabled truck, southbound delays continue to Exit 13 in Norwalk with speeds averaging 15 mph. Traffic on the southbound Merritt Parkway is also very slow with delays from Trumbull to Norwalk.
