Snow causing slick road conditions, some school delays

Light snow is causing slick road conditions across southern Connecticut Tuesday morning. There are also many school delays. There are two-hour school delays in Bridgeport, Brookfield, Bethel, Danbury, Madison, Naugatuck, New Fairfield, New Milford, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Stratford, Torrington, Weston, Wilton, Woodbridge and West Haven. The delayed opening list is growing by the minute. For the complete list, click here While major roads have been treated, there are deceivingly slippery spots that can caught drivers off guard. Highway entrance and exit ramps, bridges and road shoulders are snow covered. Local roads in hilly towns are especially slippery.
