MILFORD — Police arrested a woman accused of fraudulently using a business credit card for $106,000 in personal expenses. Mary Thornton, 27, was taken into custody on Tuesday after her former employer alerted police in May 2017 of her alleged improper use of a business credit card, according to a statement from police. Thornton was the office manager at S.H. Acoustics on Higgins Drive in Milford for about a year and was given an American Express credit card to use for business and opened up a second card, which she reportedly abused, according to Officer Mike DeVito. The company specializes in audio design of buildings such as museums and recording studios.
