Chance of light snow from near-miss storm

There’s a chance of some light snow from a storm that will pass south of Nantucket tonight. The National Weather Service says “low pressure will develop off of the Carolina coast today, then track northeastward over the Atlantic tonight. The low will reach a point about 200 miles southeast of Nantucket overnight, then reach the Canadian Maritimes Tuesday. “The low will spread some light precipitation into the area today, mainly east of the Hudson River. It will likely start off as sprinkles or light rain, then change to snow by evening. The snow will taper off overnight, but there will be an additional chance for snow showers on Tuesday as an upper level disturbance tracks through the region.
