SEYMOUR — Police took some time Friday to remind residents that the winter parking ban begins on Dec. 1. The ban — which begins a week from Friday — is in effect from midnight to 6 a.m. and during any active storm regardless of the time of day, police said. During the parking ban, parking is allowed on the odd side of the street throughout the entire winter season. Police encourage residents to utilize off-street parking when possible.
