BRIDGEPORT — The city has over 100 open slots for preschool that they’re looking to fill by Jan. 1. So if your child is 3 or 4 — or will be 3 by Jan. 1 — and you’re looking for a place to enroll them in preschool, the city has you covered. And there are nearly 20 programs available to choose from. Even if you live outside the city, if you work in Bridgeport your child is eligible to enroll in a Bridgeport preschool. And if cost is an issue, there are some programs that are easier on the wallet. Some of the programs that have slots to fill are on a sliding scale basis — which means the fee is based on your income. And income eligible programs are free for those who qualify.
