BRIDGEPORT — City cops are investigating a report of shots fired Tuesday afternoon. The first calls came into dispatch around 2:50 p.m. when someone on Fremont Street called 911 after hearing what they said was six or seven shots being fired out on the street. Initially there did not appear to be any further information, but moments later an additional call came in from the 957 State St. — the Red Apple restaurant — that a bullet had gone through their window. Witnesses told police, according to dispatch reports, that a male that was said to look to be around 16-years-old and 6-feet tall. Witnesses said the suspect was wearing a black hoodie.
