HARTFORD — Family and friends of Jayson Negron will gather near the state capitol Monday with demands for the state in regards to his death and the events that led up to it. “Community members and advocates for racial justice and police accountability from across the state will be gathering near the state capitol,” a news release said. Participants are asking for “#JusticeforJayson.” Negron was fatally shot by Bridgeport Police Officer James Boulay on May 9 around 5 p.m. Boulay also shot and injured Julian Fyffe, 21 at the time, who was a passenger in the car. Police said Negron drove the wrong way down a one-way street — Fairfield Avenue — outside the Walgreens at 1000 Park Ave.
