November is ending on a high note, at least with above average temperatures on Thursday. “High pressure will be in control of the weather today, keeping us dry,” the National Weather Service said Thursday. “Clouds will however increase, but high temperatures should still manage to climb a few degrees above normal. A cold front approaches with scattered showers tonight, and will exit east of Long Island by daybreak on Friday. As for Friday, expect mostly sunny conditions and highs once again a few degrees above normal.” Warmest, coldest days As is the usual case for November, we’ve had quite a swing in temperatures this month. According to data from the Northeast Regional Climate Center, the warmest day was on Nov.
