MILFORD - A West Haven driver has been arrested for allegedly hitting a motorcycle with his vehicle and then fleeing the scene. Police said the accident happened shortly after 3 p.m. on Wednesday in the area of Bridgeport and Avery avenues. Gordon Farrell, 20, of Burwell Road in West Haven, is accused of leaving the scene after hitting the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was taken to Milford Hospital with minor injuries. Police said a witness followed Farrell’s vehicle and told police that it was taken to a Carlson Avenue residence. Farrell was charged with evading responsibility and failure to grant the right of way. He will appear in court on Dec. 28.
