BRIDGEPORT — The Housing Authority for the City of Bridgeport was ordered to shell out restitution for a lawsuit filed this year, according to the Department of Justice. The authority was ordered Thursday to pay the victim of the lawsuit $10,000 as a part of the settlement, the DOJ said. In Nov. 2016, the U.S. Attorney’s office filed a complaint in federal court that alleged that the Housing Authority for the City of Bridgeport — operating under the title of Park City Communities — violated the Fair Housing Act.
