After 3 years and 3 chiefs, Bridgeport nears launch of police staff study

The city this week advertised the new 25-person class by posting a video of their being sworn-in Monday. The new recruits are expected to graduate in late September or early October and then spend 400 hours training with a certified police field officer trainer.
