Bridgeport therapists to address racial trauma in children

LifeBridge is one of eight designated outpatient urban trauma centers throughout the state. While the organization already treats children, the new program will give LifeBridge staff specialized racial trauma training in order to better help children of color who battle discrimination and suffer from high rates of poverty, violence and marginalization
