Acting Bridgeport Police Chief Rebeca Garcia to retire, claims ‘politics’ behind Ganim’s new hire

In announcing her retirement, Garcia called Mayor Joe Ganim’s choice of Capt. Roderick Porter to be Bridgeport’s new police chief a result of “politics.”
