Back to school

Ansonia got an early jump on school this year, with students returning to classes more than a week earlier than some nearby towns.

Superintendent Joseph DiBacco said the schools feature some new additions this year, including a middle school robotics program, a makers’ space at the elementary schools and Ansonia Family University — a developmental program to aid in academic, social and emotional success for students.
